ARTIST STATEMENT
I consider that my work as an artist has to do with expressing the ineffable in a way that reaches people. This may have to do with viewers' unspoken yearnings, ideas about the beautiful, or with other spiritual, religious or intellectual ideas that can not adequately be put into words. My hope is to engender images, feelings or thoughts in the viewer that will either confirm some of these unspoken feelings or suggest new ways of seeing what they already know.
